Our Leader:
Following his graduation and commissioning from Valley Forge Military College Major General Walt Lord class of 1984 along with his wife and teammate Grace served our country for over 30 years with honor and distinction in the United States Army. During that time they also raised two fantastic young men who both currently serve as officers in our Nation’s Army.
Walt and Grace are a team of dedicated and morally sound leaders who successfully navigated complex geopolitical assignments both at home and abroad. Their years of experience in leadership, mentorship, family readiness, and team work make them a tremendous asset to any organization. They are the embodiment of Soldier, Leader, Patriot, and Family.
Throughout their career the Lord’s have spent countless hours of their time mentoring and improving the lives of the people within their sphere of influence. Most recently and to the delight of thousands of alumni, parents, and friends of Valley Forge that sphere became MG Lord’s Alma Mater, Valley Forge Military Academy and College.
Our Mission:
To that end, the purpose of this GoFundMe account is to raise money in support of our Brother Walt and his teammate Grace to be used as they see fit to defend their good name in light of the most recent inflammatory statement made by the board of trustees.
Furthermore it is to clearly illustrate to the Valley Forge Military Academy and College foundation as a united Valley Forge family (Parents, Alumni, and Friends of the Forge) that our support for Major General Walt and Grace Lord is more than mere words of good faith. That our actions “in thought word and deed” are characterized by honor and integrity.
